Pau Ferro (Machaerium Scleroxylon) is an exotic hardwood from tropical South America, ranging from Brazil to Bolivia. A closely related species to the rosewoods, it is commonly used in the making of guitars. These knife racks are made by our friend Steve Preeg in Murietta, CA. Please Keep in mind that these are natural materials and although Steve works them to near perfection, natural materials have inclusions, blemishes, etc.
