The Aircrew Survival Egress Knife (ASEK) System from Ontario Knife Company is one of two military-issue knife systems designed specifically for downed airmen. This multi-role knife can be used for survival tasks ranging from escaping a downed aircraft to constructing a shelter to cleaning game. The complete system includes the ASEK Knife, Strap Cutter, and MOLLE Compatible Sheath.

• The ASEK Knife has a 4.9 in. partially serrated blade made from 1095 carbon steel hardened to 55-57 HRC with a zinc phosphate coating.
• The Kraton handle has a hammer pommel with integral glass breaker.
